Coimbatore to Tirupati - Evening Darshan

05:00 AM - Early morning departure from Coimbatore in a comfortable AC vehicle, ensuring you have sufficient rest time during the 8-hour journey to Tirupati (approximately 420 km).

  • 08:30 AM - Breakfast stop at a quality restaurant on the Salem-Vellore highway (at your own expense).
  • 10:30 AM - Brief rest stop near Vellore with an opportunity to visit the famous Golden Temple if time permits.
  • 01:30 PM - Arrive in Tirupati city and check-in to your comfortable hotel. Time to freshen up and have lunch.
  • 03:30 PM - Visit Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in downtown Tirupati, one of the largest temple complexes in the region dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
  • 05:00 PM - Visit Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanoor, dedicated to the consort of Lord Venkateswara, where we'll participate in the evening aarti.
  • 07:00 PM - Return to the hotel for dinner and an early night, as we'll have an early start for Tirumala darshan the next day.

Tirumala Darshan and Return to Coimbatore

04:00 AM - Early morning wake-up call followed by check-out from the hotel. We'll drive up the sacred Tirumala hills (22 km from Tirupati city) through the winding ghat road.

However, please note that during peak seasons and festivals, even Special Entry can have longer waiting times.

  • Traditional dress is required when visiting the Tirupati temple. Men should wear dhotis with upper cloth or kurta-pyjama (western clothes like jeans and t-shirts are discouraged). Women can wear sarees, churidar/salwar kameez, or traditional half-sarees. Children can wear any decent traditional attire. Sleeveless tops, shorts, skirts above knee length, and revealing clothes are not permitted inside the temple. Our guide will provide detailed information before the visit.
